How to Apply

Who May Apply and When

Anyone can apply for admission to the Indiana University High School diploma programs; and since Indiana University High School does not operate on a traditional semester schedule, you can apply year round.

  1. Create a Guest Account .

  2. Log into Canvas(This establishes a Canvas account for you so we can add classes after you register for them.)

  3. Complete the IUHS information form, which will generate your Dragon system username and password. Dragon is the course registration system.  Canvas is the course platform.  Please fill in all the information requested and use your GUEST ACCOUNT email address. Students must use their full legal name and please include a phone number.

  4. Complete the admission application form. Please fill in all the information requested and submit a $42 nonrefundable admission application fee (form and payment are online).  Please list all previously attended high schools when you fill out the admissions application and be sure to include the school’s fax number.  Once we receive the admissions application we will contact your previously attended high school(s) and request an official transcript.

After You Apply

When all of the necessary admission materials arrive in our office, we'll give them to an IUHS academic advisor for immediate evaluation. If you haven’t sent us all of the required materials, our registrar will send you a letter indicating which materials you still need to submit. We’ll put your admission application on hold until we’ve gotten the materials from you. Once we receive the remaining materials, our recorder will pass your application along to an academic advisor.

If you are accepted into Indiana University High School, we'll send you an email that includes your academic plan, as well as mail you an admission packet. At this point, you'll need to contact an academic advisor to discuss how previous course work might transfer to Indiana University High School and to plan your course of study.
