COSTS
How much is the Indiana University High School diploma?
When you apply to the diploma program, you pay a nonrefundable $40 application fee. After that, the cost for completing the diploma depends on how many courses you need to take.
How much do your high school courses cost? Are textbooks included in the cost?
The cost per course right now is approximately $220. Textbook prices vary and are not included in the course cost.
Why don’t you notify me when prices increase?
Keep in mind that tuition and fees are updated every July 1.
It is unusual for prices to increase at other times during the year, but as the course catalog and your student handbook state, Indiana University can change without notice statements concerning rules, policies, fees, curricula, courses, or other matters.
Be sure to check the Indiana University High School Web site for the most up-to-date price information.
Why do I have a balance due?
You’re most likely have a balance due if you paid “old” course or fee rates rather than current rates (for example, you paid the 2008-09 rate instead of the 2009-10 rate). Please contact customer service at 800.334.1011 for assistance.

You have one full calendar year to complete your course. If - after one year - you still need more time, you can buy up to two four-month extensions. See Tuition and Fees for price information.
Is there any way I can finish a course faster?
Indiana University High School courses are designed to cover a full semester of material, so it typically takes 12 to 18 weeks to complete a course. We can’t guarantee completion in fewer than 12 weeks based on our assignment submission and exam policies.
Once registered, you’re welcome to let your instructor know you’re trying to finish the course in an accelerated manner.

course. If you make a note of your registration date, you’ll know that
your timeout date is one year later.
If - after one year - you still need more time, you are eligible to purchase up to two four-month extensions. See Tuition and Fees for price information.
