Introduction
Imagine that you are about to take a drive to another state. To arrive successfully, you need a road map that tells you what highways to follow and what detours to avoid. Similarly, when you jump into the driver's seat of an Indiana University High School (IUHS) course, you need a road map to guide you to your destination.
This handbook is that road map. It contains the policies and procedures for Indiana University High School. You may want to pay particular attention to the following:
Just as ignorance of the law won't keep you from getting a traffic ticket, failure to read and clearly understand this handbook won't make you any less accountable for the policies and procedures it contains. Therefore, if you have any questions about your responsibilities, please call 800.334.1011. Staff members can answer your questions or transfer you to the people who can best help you.
Good luck as you begin your work and remember, IUHS instructors and staff members are dedicated to helping you succeed. If you have questions, we are here to answer them for you.
